The Camp Fire and our Butte Create Space

After the devastating Camp Fire burned through the town of Paradise California, tens of thousands of community members were left without homes, businesses, and schools. When 250 grade school children were displaced, the students were relocated to a school in Oroville, the next town over. To help with the adjustment to this new school, a local patron donated funds to help our Create Space design, print, and produce over 250 “Butte Strong Kid” and “Butte Strong Teacher” shirts on our Epson DTG t-shirt printer. A dozen students volunteered to create the shirts and worked tirelessly for three days to get the shirts ready for the young students’ first week back to school.
