Sierra College students attending the Tahoe Truckee Campus have been spending time at partner community makerspace, Truckee Roundhouse, to learn digital design and 2D fabrication on the laser cutter. One of their first projects: design and build a light box. See those happy faces! Sierra College has an MOU in place with the Truckee Roundhouse to give students access to a creative and collaborative learning environment. In exchange, the Sierra Makerspaces project has placed equipment into the space to benefit everyone.
