On December 14, Deborah Bird and Salomon Davila from Pasadena City College, the Technical Assistance Provider to the colleges developing makerspaces, and Carol Pepper-Kittredge from Sierra College, the CCC Maker Statewide Project Manager, presented a webinar giving an overview of the CCC Maker Initiative. Additionally, they explained in further detail what participating colleges will be doing in the first six months of the project. Colleges will receive support and resources to explore, create and connect as they develop unique programs that meet the needs of their colleges and regional ecosystems.
