CCC Maker College Teams are invited to participate in the second of two symposia to share our progress, discuss key topics in project implementation and develop topics for academic papers for submission to conferences and publications.

The focus of the symposium will be Making Across the Curriculum including interdisciplinary collaboration, integrated academics, and curriculum alignment with career exploration and guided pathways. Colleges wishing to present their work will be invited to submit an abstract.

The symposium will be coordinated by Brie Lindsey, Senior Program Associate with the California Council on Science and Technology, and will feature speakers, discussion panels and working groups.

The event will be hosted by Folsom Lake College where Zack Dowell has been building innovative maker curriculum through the FLC Innovation Center. https://www.flcinnovation.org/

CCC Maker Colleges are also invited to the Southern California symposium to be held at Glendale Community College on March 16. The focus of the first symposium is Work-Based Learning.

An invitation and more information will be sent to all CCC Maker Colleges in the near future.
