Santa Maria, California—the CCMN held its 2nd annual Holiday Makerspace last Saturday. Community members enjoyed a variety of led and self-directed activities at both the Discovery Museum and the Santa Maria Public Library.
Festivities ran from 10 AM to 3 PM, and there were over 150 participants. Activities included t-shirt printing, ornament making, Makey Makey controller fabricating, sewing, and more.
The event is the culmination of a semester of collaboration between the CCMN, and one of the final maker events of the 2018 year. It was an excellent send off to a phenomenal year of making, and a wonderful portent into the future of the Central Coast Makerspace Network.
