The Santa Maria Times reported on the STEAM Camp being offered at the Discovery Museum. Thanks to Robert Mabry, retired, Allan Hancock College, who alerted us. “The camp is one part of the CCC Maker legacy,” said Mabry.
The students built circuit boards and robotic canoes as well as many other fun science and technology projects.
During the CCC Maker initiative, Allan Hancock College partnered with the Discovery Museum and Santa Maria Library to infuse making throughout the community.
Read Learning continues over summer through Discovery Museum camps and programs in the Santa Maria Times July 30 and August 8.
